Radon is an element that is tasteless, odorless, and is radioactive. It comes from naturally occurring Uranium in the soil, and can accumulate in basements or other parts of the home.
Radon's decay products are the second leading cause of lung cancer behind cigarette smoking, so determining your Radon level is critically important to you and your families' health. We provide Radon testing so you can be informed of the potential levels in your home and mitigate if necessary.
Testing is the only way to know if you are at risk for Radon exposure in your home. We recommend including a Radon test with your inspection if your home has a basement or is at ground level. We also recommend you test even if there is a mitigation system installed.
Our measurement professionals are certified by the NRPP (National Radon Proficiency Program) and licensed to work in the State of Minnesota.
